Elayne and Norm Ruplen of Dundas have been running String Along Ukulele since 2006. We have over 65 years of combined experience, teaching the ukulele to both children and adults. Our lifelong passion for the ukulele is still as strong as ever, especially since the current resurgence in popularity of the instrument.
We are actively involved in 4 ares of ukulele: Lessons, Evening Jams, Workshops and Retail.
Our "store" is actually a showroom in our home in Dundas, ON. Rather than sell instruments online, we strongly believe that the customer needs to physically try a number of different instruments in order to find the best size, style, wood, sound and string choice that fits their budget. For this reason, we do not sell online, but rather to those who are local and can pay us a visit.
We carry instruments from Ohana, Kala and Flea Market Music. These companies have been chosen carefully for their high build quality, sound quality, good looks, user satisfaction and reasonable price.
